Knights' Place of Köthen
Redesign of an urban space in the historical
city center of Köthen

Through the street expansion a new square plaza has
come into existence. Freshly renovated and newly
built houses create the special town flair. The new
design of the plaza offers space to stroll and to stay.
The natural stone cobbling creates a warm,
comfortable atmosphere. Long benches, privet hedges,
and ornamental cherries structure the space,
and create intimity.
