Redesign front castle courtyard - Schloss Moritzburg
Realisation competition - 1st Prize

Between the „St. Peter and Paul" cathedral and the
early baroque buildings of the castle, the inner
courtyard has turned into a secluded treasure. The
topography of the courtyard was changed only very
subtly. The relief of the slightly raised center area,
circled by the driveway, reminds of an elliptically
formed piece of jewellery. A cut, bordered with Corten
steel plates, creates a space inside the relief. Thus,
a place of peace and quiet, surrounded by luxurious
vegetation, came into being.
