Möllenvogteigarten Magdeburg
Redesign of the garden under consideration
of the guidelines of historical monuments maintenance
Charming and romantic, the Möllenvogteigarten is
situatedbehind the Magdeburg Cathedral. Developed
from the archbishops' tree garden, it was first
mentioned in 1377. As though looking through a
window, a view opens to different eras of history -
the only remaining city gate of 1493, the inner ward of
the city manifestations with built-in niches, the
remains of the Gandolphi Chapel, a simple well, and
many walls belonging to long-lostbuildings. Here, a
singular, exciting treasure has developed, inviting you
to stay and discover.
